Collaborative Economy, Bitcoin and Society

Further insight; deliverables; things that I expect to occur along the way:

A.1) Primary Research Method >> Focus Group, Survey/Questionnaire format
Here principles of *speculative design* are applied and *design fiction* methods relayed.
Research surveys will infer that in terms of a majority >>> most people do not arrive with prior awareness regarding *cryptocurrencies* and as a result, are unfamiliar with embroiled concepts, theories, economic and social significances etc.

A.2) Once informed; they are curious and eager to be explorative in regard of the above but concurrently, will raise doubts.

B) P.R.M = Unstructured Interview (qualitative)

The consensus of professional *institutional* financial industry >>> disregard for the prospect of cryptocurrency; not considered realistic or viable (popular enough) in the context of speculative future economy.

C) Research data to be collated in an aesthetically adequate/eye-pleasing/clear and generally interesting manner. Use of the InDesign platform, infographic design, etc.

*Here I will need to improve on and learn skills re digital presentation and artistry – keeping in mind presentations in ‘research book’ and online format.

D) Finalise the *service design* and nature of the campaign >>> that will disseminate *Bitcoin* as a concept: garnering awareness, fostering interest and instigating engagement on behalf of the LCC contingent community.

*Here I will consider/implement: leaflets/posters/visual disseminations/graphic identity and narrative overtone >> Website and building of an online presence >> Networking: re. Forming of professional/academic links and sharing of ideas >> Sources of funding: Seed, Mead, etc. Sourcing of technical equipment (to be borrowed for final exhibition).

E) End Goal = Bitcoin adopted and publicised as a method of payment in College. Bitcoin ATM is installed >> whether temporarily or (ideally) permanently. In college mining initiatives to be speculated.
